Grant Application Guidelines
The Innovative Technology Education Fund (ITEF) offers a competitive grant program for schools located within our Geographic Service Area. We invite accredited K-12 educational institutions, their classroom educators, and 501 (c) (3) non-profits who are partnering with accredited K-12 educational institutions to consider applying for a grant. Project proposals may benefit individual classrooms, grade level(s), a school site and/or a collaboration with a 501 (c) (3) non-profit partner serving students and/or classroom educators from an accredited school.
The Innovative Technology Education Fund (ITEF) supports innovative ideas and models that positively impact student learning and support classroom educators by focusing on:
- Student Achievement – Connecting students to the technological resources they need to reach high levels of educational success
- Extended Learning – Using technology to extend and enhance learning outside of the classroom
- Technology Skill Development and Transfer – Projects that support students and teachers in developing the skills and knowledge needed to function in and contribute to a technology-rich society
Special consideration will be given to projects using technology in an innovative way, wireless technology applications, K - Middle School applications, non-traditional students or student learning environments, projects benefiting students in economically disadvantaged areas, or from schools which currently perform at below-average levels in academic achievement.
